Buffalo is one of America’s great cities will all kinds of architecture to explore.  The Darwin D. Martin House was built by Frank Lloyd Wright between 1903 & 1905.  Like many of his projects it came in astronomically over budget – some say he spent up to $300,000 on the home, which at that time was very expensive! People That Live in Glass Houses

The Philip Johnson Glass House is a 47 acre property in New Canaan, Connecticut.  It was built in 1949 and designed by Philip Johnson, as his own residence.

The glass walls in the house disappear into the landscape, providing a fluid relationship between the inside and outside elements.  The view becomes the walls, coupling a combination of nature and man-made beauty.
